“ Lipsos is one of the best mediterranean restaurants in Selimiye. Everything we had was quite tasty and fresh, also appetizers were delicious and many of them have unique recipes that you cannot find in another place. Strongly recommended! ”
“ We spent a lot of time trying to find the best place to have dinner on our 1 day trip to the peninsula. This was our top choice to combine a beautiful place and good food, and we didn't miss on both. On the way to the restaurant, you will see many others that look similar, some might even be a bit more fancy, but we were very happy to end up in this place in the harbour, with our feet almost in the water. Our Turkish friend told us that the other places were way less authentic and local. In terms of food, you will go to the kitchen to chose what you will eat, and I mean that litterally: you chose the fish you'll have among their fresh selection. The food was amazing. We were particularly excited about the fresh fish on the barbecue (well prepared), the shrimps cooked in butter and garlic on hot stone and the octopus. The mezze were also fantastic, with a large selection to choose from. Special mention for the fried calamari rings, one of the best I've eaten in my life. The waiters were also great, very dedicated despite our table being large and our many requests. They were fast, pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend this place. ”

“ Lovely fish restaurant, perfect place for romantic dinner, all tables are on the pier, literally by the water. Octopus salad and stuffed calamari is my personal top, everything is really fresh, you choose what to cook right from the stall. If you go there with children, they can cook meatballs or chicken breast for them. Popular and busy place even during weekdays. Not cheap, but worth to visit at least once. ”
